Jonnie Harrison
Director & Senior Teacher
Jonnie Harrison is the Director of Dynamic Piano lessons and also a Senior Teacher specialising in Jazz Piano.
Jonnie has a BA Hons in Music from Sussex University and a Masters in Music Therapy from Roehampton University.
Jonnie has performed both in the UK and abroad, accompanied singers, and has written music for film, theatre and dance.
Tiija
Senior Teacher
Tiija is a classically trained pianist and piano teacher originally from Finland. She has a BSc in Music and Psychology from Royal Holloway University of London and an MA in Music Education from the Institute of Education University of London. Tiija has worked as a piano teacher in Hackner for over 10 years, having taught both children and adults, from beginner to more advanced levels. She has also worked on several teacher training projects, championing the inclusion of music and instrumental learning in schools.
Tiija is passionate about helping anyone and everyone to learn to play the piano. She always incorporates music theory into her lessons in a fun, engaging way. Largely influenced by famous composers, such as Mozart and Chopin, in her free time, she enjoys listening to country music and playing the accordion.
Alex
Alex Grinyer joined the DPL team in 2023 as a piano teacher. Alex has a Bachelor of Music degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and a Masters from the Royal College of Music.
Alongside his piano playing, Alex is a freelance organist and horn player.
Caroline – Finance Director
Caroline is our Finance Director and has been delighted to watch us grow and thrive over the last few years. Previously, Caroline has worked in the accounting department at Warner Brothers Studios and created budgets for Butterfly Theatre Company. She is delighted to be able to work in a creative environment, alongside Jonnie and the team and watch the students grow and thrive, term by term.Lessons Can be Taught at Your Home
